Helium Tank Rental Policies

RETAIL STORE CUSTOMERS CAN RENT HELIUM TANKS ALSO. THE SAME FEES APPLY AS LISTED BELOW, PLUS THERE IS A $100 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED ON ALL RENTALS. RETAIL CUSTOMERS ARE ALLOWED TO KEEP THEIR TANKS FOR UP TO 5 DAYS.

As a result of changes in the helium business, especially regarding the demurrage* charges that our manufacturer charges us, we are modifying our helium tank policies, terms and conditions for our commercial customers to now be as follows:

* Demurrage Charge refers to the manufacturer’s charge to Net Litin Distributors for not having helium tanks returned to them within specific time period.

I. HELIUM TANK INFORMATION AND PRICES
K Tanks have 213 Cubic Feet which Fills up to 420 – 11" Latex Balloons = $79.00 Rental Fee
S Tanks have 134 Cubic Feet which Fills up to 250 – 11" Latex Balloons = $59.00 Rental Fee

II. HELIUM TANK RENTAL PERIOD OF 90 DAYS & LATE FEES

From time of delivery, you will be able to keep your tank(s) for 90 days without a demurrage charge.
Shortly after 90 days, we will arrange to pick up your rented tank(s) or preferably, exchange a full tank(s) for an empty tank(s), at a time that is convenient to you, our customer, and our truck routing.
If we are unable to pick up your rented tank(s) after 120 days, we will bill you $275 for each non-returned tank and $50 for the demurrage charge (manufacturer’s charge to us for not having the tanks returned to them within a certain time period).
After 120 days, if we receive each tank back, we will then refund you $275 per tank (by check or credit).
If you are using our valves, in addition to the $275 per tank charge, there will be a $59.95 per valve charge, if not returned within 120 days after rental. This amount will also be refunded to you once we receive back your valve.

PLEASE NOTE: If you’re not using up your tank of helium in the 90 days, then we recommend that you use a smaller size tank.

III. DELIVERY CHARGES
There is a $29 delivery charge on all tanks being delivered to customer’s premises.

IV. DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS ON HELIUM TANKS

Due to updated constraints on insurance, Net Litin Distributors’ personnel are restricted from delivering or picking up helium tanks that requires them to go up or down any flight of stairs at any of our customer’s premises. (for Commercial Customers)
Net Litin Distributors can ONLY deliver and pick up helium tanks to a main level receiving area at our customer’s premises, which will be coordinated between the customer and our driver.
